Artist's Description

It was a special moment for me to be present during the 200-th anniversary celebration of the first UK steam locomotive (Richard Trevithick's) at the National Rail Museum, Saturday May 30, 2004. Richard Branson had just completed the purchase of the Gresley Pacific "Flying Scotsman" for the museum and accompanied it to the site in York. It was a proud addition to the festival of steam which lasted one week. 58cm x 38cm
