Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

In early spring the snow is starting to melt and old tree stumps are left exposed. In the light they contain a myriad of colours. This is typical of Canadian Shield country.

About David Gilmore

David Gilmore

David Gilmore, a retired rail engineer, started painting in oils at age 8. Today he works mainly in watercolour and acrylics. About 35 years ago he developed his keen interest in watercolour painting. Work took him to Asia and parts of Europe. While posted to London, UK from 2000-2005 he studied watercolour painting under Michael Chaplin, Brian Ryder, and Ian King. Several commissions were completed while in the UK. Back in Canada in 2006, he exhibited at Kingston's Artisans' Alley and was invited by gallery, Studio22, to have a solo show. In 2008 and 2010, he had successful solo exhibitions in Altdorf, Switzerland. In 2011, 2012 and 2014 he was invited to exhibit at the Art-in-the-Barn and he exhibited at the Rideau Valley Art Festival...
